Uitdagend werk in een snelgroeiende organisatie die constant in beweging is
Tijdens mijn opdracht bij NIBC bank was ik verantwoordelijk voor het implementeren van de Business Intelligence strategie bij de bank. Power BI was net geïntroduceerd en veel medewerkers waren nog onervaren met deze tool. Voor veel processen werd gebruikt van de BI-tool SAP BO en Excel. Het gebruik van Power BI moest beter worden ingebed in de organisatie, zodat iedereen er veilig mee kan werken. Ik heb mij bezig gehouden met het opzetten van het beleid rondom data governance en het opzetten van de infrastructuur voor Power BI.
Het bedrijf
NIBC is een middelgrote bank met 700 medewerkers. Het gebruik van data moest naar een hoger niveau worden getild.
Mijn rol
One of my primary tasks was to clean and improve the company’s data warehouse. This involved working with a team of professionals to ensure that the data was accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. We used a variety of tools and techniques, including SQL Server and Excel, to manage the data and prepare it for analysis.
Using Power BI and TimeXtender, I was able to develop customized data reports and dashboards that provided real-time insights into the company’s operations. These reports and dashboards were tailored to meet the specific needs of different departments, such as finance and sales. By providing the company’s leadership team with a clear and accurate view of their data, they were able to make better-informed decisions that drove the business forward. Overall, my work at Hiltermann Lease helped to transform the company’s data management practices and improve their overall business operations.
